    awvSetWaveNameList broken in 6.1.5? Reply

    I'm playing around with 6.1.5 and I tried the following experiment with a plot window.

     awvSetWaveNameList(awvGetWaveNameList(awvGetCurrentWindow()))

    I would expect that it would return a 't', as all I'm doing is setting the current wave name to the current wave name.

    But, I get back the following:

    ERROR (WIA-1002): The specified waveform window ID is not valid. Specify a valid waveform window ID.
    nil

    I can do it more explicitly:

    g_window = awvGetCurrentWindow()
    window:18

     l_list = awvGetWaveNameList(g_window)
    ((1 3)
        ("/iref" "/I0/iref")
    )

    awvSetWaveNameList(l_list)
    ERROR (WIA-1002): The specified waveform window ID is not valid. Specify a valid waveform window ID.
    nil

    Anyone else seeing this?

    Mark

    Hi Mark

    Thank you very much for the detail description. There is indeed something wrong with the function. I am also seeing the problem in IC615-500-1.The windows argument is supposed to be optional but the function now insists that user provides a window ID. This issue has already been reported and will be fixed. As a workaround, please use the following for now:

    awvSetWaveNameList(awvGetWaveNameList(awvGetCurrentWindow()) awvGetCurrentWindow())

    Best regards
    Quek
