    Difference betweeen synthesize- generic, mapped, placed in RC Reply

    Respected all...........

    In RTL compiler we have the synthesis command

     synthesize -to_mapped -effort high -no_incr

    in this, instead of mapped , we have generic and placed also

    wts the difference between these three.........

    please clarify this

    Thanking you alll................

    synthesize -to_mapped => logic optimization

    -generic  => RTL optimization

    Thanks.
