skill code file path settings Reply
     Hi all, Please help me.

Can anybody tell me about the skill code path settings for Allegro PCB Design L 16.3?

I have a skill code file “pickdata” & done the settings as shown below:

2 file folders, "pcbenv" & "skill" are created in the "c\cadence\home" folder"pcbenv" contains "allegro.ilinit!!" file"skill"  contains "pickdata.il" & its back up file. In the system variable, the path is set as Variable - HOMEValue - c\cadence\homeHowever, when I run the command line in Allegro PCB design L, as mentioned in the file; the message is:”command not found”

With the same way of settings (I hope I copied the same way) the file runs in my other office.

but I could n't notice the "env " data file in the "pcbenv" folder.
That should be created/copied manually there or it is created default?

pl help me to run it.

    Thanks,

    rinj

    Hi

The path to the skill files can be changed in the allegro.ilint file that should reside in your env directory.

Make sure to check the pickdata result with respect to what coordinates you wan't to use (read the top of that file.)

    Best regards

    Ole

Thank you for your support. The Error was -  after customization, file was not renamed properly. The allegro.ilinit  file name was like this “allegro.ilinit!!”.

When I removed the “!!” from the file name, I was able to load the file properly & got the correct  o/p .swp file.

    Best regards,
