    I am using OrCAD Capture 16.2 and I want to model a parallel plate variable capacitor whose capacitance depends upon the distance between plates. I am using a Laplace transfer function block form ABM library and it gives me variable voltage as an output and in my case this voltage is used to represent the changing distance between the two plates of capacitor. Then I am using an ABM1 block to calculate the value of capacitance at different values of input voltage and this gives me the output which is in the form of voltage and it is numerically equal to my desired changing capacitance. Now the problem for me is that the output of ABM1 is in volts but I want the output in Farad, so that this model is then used to represents a variable capacitor. Looking for any possible solution for this.

    You could try the VC_CAP from the Spice_elem library, this is listed as a voltage controlled capacitor.
