    Encounter 9.1 - Synthesize Power Plan menu Reply

    Hi,

    I am currently working through an old encounter workshop, with a DTMF design, located at share/fe/gift/tutorials/dtmf in my encounter 9.1 install directory.  I got the artisan files from the training course page. The workshop document is dated january 2007, and written for SoC encounter 6.20.

    In section 6, page 29, the tutorial makes an extensive use of the "synthesis power plan" GUI for power rings and stripes generation. Is this feature available in "Encounter Digital Implementation" 9.1? The choice does not appear in the power menu, although it is clearly mentionned in the user guide (for version 9.1.1, March 2010) at page 459. I did see the menu in version 8.1 though, but the project I will be working on is using version 9.1.

    Why can't I see the choice in the power menu? Do I need a specific licence do use this feature?

     This functionality is obsolete, but unfortunately the User Guide still mentions it. See the following solution for more details:
