    How to export 3D model from allegro pcb editor 16.01? Reply

    Hi,

    I am using Allegro PCB Editor 16.01. My customer asking 3d model for the paricular board....But i dont know ,what file i have to export.Plese help me.

     Use File - Export - IDF, You can then create either a basic IDF or PTC or SRDC type. Talk to your customer to find out which 3D tool he is using. Use the HELP button to help you decide on the options.

    Hi

    Even DXF files will be with height information.

    File, Export, DXF and enable "Export symbols and padstacks as BLOCKs" - you can define a default height for components without any height.
