 How to draw outlines when using enter functions?

    How to draw outlines when using enter functions? Reply
    When using "Virtusuo-->Create-->Multipart Path" to create bus or guardring, several outlines will be drawn, including the master path, subPaths and subRects. But enterPath() can only draw one outline. What can I do if I want to draw more outlines when using enterPath(), like using "Mutipart Path" ? Thanks

    Hi,

    The outline that is drawn by the enterFunctions are limited, basically they are boxes that stretch during data entry.  As you have noted, the outline feedback that you get from the Multi-Part Path command is much more detailed.  Unfortunately there seems to be no SKILL access to this feature as it is a low-level functionality that is implemented at the C-level.  Also, I don't think that there would be a way to call the enterFunction twice or more at the same time to try to draw multiple outlines this way.
