Generating Drill Legend in Allegro PCB 16.2, is there a difference? Reply

Has something changed in Allegro PCB 16.2?  I just tried to create my drill legend and the it creates the non plated hole lines on top of the plated hole lines, making it un-readable.  This never happened before (I was running 16.01).  Is there something I need to change in 16.2 to make it work like it should?

Sounds like the coord system has been reset and for some reason you might have selected separate drill charts for np and plated holes?

If so, click on Move, set find filter to groups, click on one of the two charts and relocate it.  Now it will remember its coordinate spacing for future tables.

How do you select those?  Again, I am not doing anything different from 16.01.  There is no drill chart existing, so if this is the case, it is creating them on top of each other.

If your design has never created a NC drill then the default is to place all drill charts on top of each other. Follow redwires instructions (Edit - Move, find filter groups) and select the drill chart and move it to a new location. Once done Allegro remembers this for next time.

     I found the issue.

I had created a mechanical tooling hole with a pad (the part that gets drilled away) only on one side, so I was getting a TOP to TOP drill hole only.  That gave me two drill schedules, TOP to TOP and TOP to BOTTOM.  When I corrected this, I again only had one Drill Schedule
