New Rapid Adoption Kit on Encounter RTL Compiler: RC-Physical Low Power Flow

Comments(0)Filed under: RTL compiler, rapid adoption kits, front-end design, RAK, RC Physical, RC-Physical Low Power Flow, RC -Physical FlowCadence's Digital Front-End Design Team first introduced the concept of a Rapid Adoption Kit (RAK), self-guided and learn-by-doing training material, over two and a half years ago, helping its users across the globe deploy new products and flows. These RAKs have expanded to nearly all of Cadence's product categories and collectively offer a key component of our "Best of 2013" Cadence Online Support resources; each offers workshop databases or demo databases, instructional documents, overview presentations, app notes, and videos

The Digital Front-End Design RAKs alone have over 3500 unique users, garnering encouraging feedback on how they can help maximize productivity benefits of Cadence tools and technologies. We deeply and sincerely thank the whole community for continuing to download and leverage our RAKs on Cadence Online Support.

We appreciate your support and feedback in developing more such self-help online content in the future. Please do provide your feedback on existing content, and new topics you would like us to consider developing in the future. You can always visit us on the following support page to access our all technology RAKs: http://support.cadence.com/raks.

As we wrap up 2013 and begin 2014, Cadence's Encounter® RTL Compiler Product Engineering Team members Srinivasa Murali Dunga, Poornima D Pai, and Taukheer Ahmed want to wish Cadence Online Support and its users a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - The RAK Way!!!

The latest RAK on RTL Compiler : RC-Physical Low Power Flow provides users of RTL Compiler (RC) with low-power design implementation features using physical synthesis capabilities of RC, focusing on the intersection of low power and physical in the design flow. This RAK demonstrates the basic RC-Physical flow for designs with power-intent-based domains. The RAK includes training materials on all three topics.

RC-Physical with Low-Power Interface

The RAK is validated with RC 13.1, and is designed for beginners.
