The new ChipEstimate.com: The place to be for IP

Comments(0)Filed under: Logic Design, incyte, ChipEstimate.com, IP, Verification IP

If you are not yet familiar with the ChipEstimate.com site.....first, why not? It is the leading portal for design IP with over 200 IP suppliers and over 8,000 components available. The team behind the site has been hard at work making it an even more compelling destination for all things IP.

For instance, verification IP is finally getting its recognition as being as important as the design IP itself. Since verification is such a bottleneck in the design process, anything that makes this task more efficient is welcome. ChipEstimate.com now provides the ability to search for this directly. In the IP search, along with entering your search terms, select under "Verification IP" for the "Category" field and you can search the hundreds of components available.

Looking for more technical background on vendors' IP, or integration strategies? The new "IP Resources" section offers whitepapers on IP, vendor articles, and video content. Or just sign up for the IP Connections Newsletter and get all the latest info in your inbox.

And if you are an IP vendor, the site now offers the ability to create your own "microsite". This enables you to create a landing page that describes who you are and what you do, and list all your IP in a single place.

Finally, in the video section we just posted a quick 5-minute walk-through of the InCyte chip estimator. This will help you evaluate IP and perform what-if analysis in the context of your chip.

So don't miss out, now is the time to start using the new ChipEstimate.com site.
