EU Specmaniacs: ClubTs Are Coming in 2 Weeks!

Comments(0)Filed under: Functional Verification, Low Power, OVM, ISX (Incisive Software Extensions), metric driven verification (MDV), Multi-domain verification: HW/SW co-verification, HW/SW, SystemC, VIP, e, Specman, IEEE 1647, OVM e, events, IntelliGen, IES-XL, Incisive, Mixed Signal Verification, OVM ML, ESL, Trailblazer, ClubT

EU-based Specmaniacs and "Trailblazers" rejoice: the annual ClubT series is back!  As always, these free events feature direct contact with Cadence R&D and Methodology experts to share developments in advanced verification, updates to the "Trailblazer" program, and hear your emerging challenges and concerns.

In fact, we welcome YOU to present at ClubT!  If you have a 30-40 minute presentation on verification you would like to share with the community, please contact your local Cadence AE or Sales person, Team Specman, or email and we will carve out time in the day’s agenda for you.  (Nothing fancy is necessary -- 7-10 slides will do the trick.  Just be prepared for plenty of questions from the audience and Cadence R&D!)

NOTE: While the agenda for each ClubT is often tailored to address the needs of each site, in general you can expect ClubT 2009 to touch on all of the following topics: Specman 9.2 Core technology updates, OVM Multi-Language and OVM e developments and roadmap, Verification IP infrastructure and roadmap, ESL, TLM, AMS and Low Power verification, Enterprise Manager, and unified coverage, and Trailblazer program updates.

If you are based in the EU and are active in verification in any way, chances are you have already received a direct invitation to one of these events from our EU team.  However, in case these events are news to you (and/or the invite email has been buried by new messages in your InBox) allow us to stress that all are welcome.  Here are the links to the agendas and registration forms for each public event:

Q: What it cost to attend ClubT?
A: Nothing.  These free events run from 9am to 4pm, and include lunch and a concluding networking happy hour.

Q: I don't live near any of the locations listed above.  Will there be a ClubT coming to a city near me?
A: Perhaps.  First, if you live in or around Yokohama, Japan, be advised that on Wednesday October 21 Cadence is hosting an "Incisive Seminar", i.e. an event on advanced verification methodology and technology that's not as focused on e/Specman technology as a ClubT.  (We will blog about this event separately).  As for other cities, we are presently considering events in the USA, India, China, Taiwan, Israel, and Korea -- please contact us with your preferences.

Q: What does the "T" in "ClubT" mean?
A: The "T" stands for the "Trailblazer" program.

Q: What is this "Trailblazer" program about?
A: If you don't already know, you are going to have to come to ClubT to find out since it's still too sensitive for the World Wide Web ...
