However I'm getting this feeling of cadence being schizophrenic about the database formats. I thought that the sst2 database format was the new generation and recommended format which was far more efficient than the psf format. Is Cadence now recommending that we use the psf format with the fast viewing option turned on?

Is there a place where I can see a comparison of the pros and cons of the different formats and a simple recommendation of what to use under what circumstances?

thanks,

Jose
