Dongbu HiTek Cadence Reference Flow
Cadence and Dongbu HiTek collaborated to develop an RTL-to-GDSII Reference Flow. Based on the Cadence Encounter digital IC design platform, the Reference Flow targets the various Dongbu-Cadence CMOS processes. The joint reference flow uses a wire-centric methodology to address key critical SoC issues including low power design, signal integrity, and design for test to provide the highest quality of silicon (QoS).
This Reference Flow is a complete front-end flow, including RTL and gate-level simulation and equivalence checking. It also includes power optimization through clock-gating insertion, as well as complete signal-integrity prevention, analysis, and fixing.
Mixed-Signal/RF Design
Cadence and Dongbu HiTek are jointly developing PDKs for several Dongbu HiTek processes. PDKs provide the crucial link between foundry process data and the tools used in custom, analog, and mixed-signal design methodologies. These joint Cadence-Dongbu PDKs will improve design start-up time, boost designer productivity, and improve design quality.
